Spring is upon us! Won’t it be wonderful to see all of nature’s colors start popping up around us! These colors sure make me happy! I just want to surround myself with them!
Yes, neutrals are calming, and soothing on the walls, but don’t be afraid of adding some pops of color whether it's softer shades, or strong bolder colors in your furniture, accessories, and art! Creating a focal point in your spaces is important and color is one way to do that!
Do you need a change? Take a risk and add some color to your walls! Paint is inexpensive, especially for a smaller space or accent wall. You can balance the area by using more neutrals and smaller color pops with accessories and pillows. If paints are too risky, add a new vase, or bowl in a fun color!
I often suggest that clients put their happy color in the laundry room! It’s a smaller room, and your space! Have fun with it! An easy way to refresh a room, add a few colorful accessories or a dramatic piece of artwork! With black and white being so popular, it's important to remember you need some color also! Whether it’s soft, bold, or darker, you need to have a variety to keep it interesting!
Have fun with your powder room! Use a sizeable patterned wallcovering to spice it up!
You could use darker patterns or brighter flowers, what would be your vibe? What colors make you feel good? What are your happy colors? Answer these two questions, then we can talk about your ideal color palate!
Remember to surround yourself with the colors that make you feel happy!
That's all for this month, thanks for subscribing!
