Anjli graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Architecture in 2013. During her time at UNL, she was in the student chapter of ASID and was a student ambassador for the College of Architecture. After interning at PDI for two years, Anjli was hired on as a full-time designer.
Upon graduating from the University, she moved to Denver where she spent two years as a designer in a national firm, specializing in designing model homes and neighborhood clubhouses throughout the United States. During this time, she directed projects varying in style from modern and contemporary to comfortable and traditional.
Anjli’s return to PDI in 2015 was fueled by her passion of working with people to create a space that not only meets their functional needs but is, also, aesthetically pleasing.
Her favorite thing to do is go on new adventures with her husband and dog, whether it’s a simple walk around the neighborhood or going camping in Colorado.
What inspires you to design?
Everything! In an ever-evolving world, inspiration can be taken from so many facets of life, from nature to polished buildings. Everything has an influence on the mind, which can be cultivated into design.
What do you like most about your job?
There are so many things, it’s hard to choose! People are probably my favorite. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them create an environment for their life and loved ones. Seeing the joy on my clients face when they see their new space is one of the best moments in a project.
